Uh. Might not be the same hell your world has. A lot of this apparently varies. But. It's a big, stupid mess, mostly. People get used to the idea they're damned, they don't usually do that much to try and change what's in front of them. Sometimes Angels come kill everyone. Overlords cause problems.

So yeah, you can see why it doesn't seem that worth it to most people to try. Contracts pretty much guarantee power to the most ruthless, and honestly most of the hellborn demons ignore us. Sinners handle most of their own tormenting.

I can fight. Your average sinner? Even a powerful overlord won't usually face exorcists directly. Angelic steel eliminates any kind of level playing field.

I haven't actually settled on the details yet. I didn't really grasp what a deal could do when I first got here. But with Husk and Angel here I don't have to make the call completely on my own.

It's not great. Honestly, I didn't expect to be dealing with this. I figured if I got a deal I'd use it to help the hotel, but I figured that'd be on the scale of, well, getting Angel or Husk out of their contracts. Now I've seen the scale of them, and, well, what if I just ended all contracts? What then?
