Do you think you could secure a lifesize picture of me, put it on some of the punching bags? I think it'd be good for people since I can't do shit about the fact that they can't currently punch me.
But it'd be cathartic! You can't tell me it wouldn't be.
And like I said, no one can punch me right now, so this is only fair. Think about how many new people might show up at the gym! Good for everyone involved.
I'm usually spending time making sure the sink doesn't explode and loan sharks aren't climbing in the windows, Charlie's the one you want for the therapeutic stuff.
[So, think like Charlie.]
But I think of verbal apologies are cheap, apology stunts are kinda doomed to fall flat. Changed behavior and restitution are gonna get you further.
I mean, sure but I wasn't going to just announce that I was the culprit and then fuck off. I don't care if people thought I was sincere or not, I needed to apologize.
But I mean, I'm going to try to change, I've got notes, promise. But restitution is hard when no one really wants you around, so I feel like I'm doing jack shit and it sucks.
So, do some stuff to make the place better. Not your job, we all do that. Show all the magic people what you did and how to fix it. Be the errands and favors guy.
Okay so, I'm down with most of that, but I am not going into detail about what I actually did. No one needs those notes. It shouldn't ever happen again and the less people know, the better. I know people change here, against their will sometimes, not giving someone the cheat code to summoning hell.
But I will be everyone's bitch boy for the next six months or how ever long it takes. Trevor wouldn't actually kick me out if I sneak into the kitchen to do dishes, right?
[Because he isn't sure he wants to just walk in there and wave at Trevor when he's sure he's still disappointed and tired. That is the worst and there isn't much he can so to fix it personally, so. Gotta be stealth, right? That's the better option?]
I could see if I could officially sign up for it, but the only thing I'm good for in there is dishes.
Maybe? I'm a little bit of a disaster in the kitchen, but if they are desperate enough to have me prepping shit, then I guess they'd really need it anyways.
I know how to do that. And make Mac and cheese. And Top Ramen.
[There is a difference between knowing how and doing it without hurting himself or burning it though and he has zero attention span.]
Anything fancier and I'd probably mess it up. It took me like twenty minutes to dice a fucking tomato. Not well, I might add. Dishes are all they want me on, promise.
Hey, I'm on my way to scoring a fake library science degree the longer I work in the library. Isn't paving the way to scoring an actual career building life skills?

[If you'll notice the way he said that doesn't also mean he said go ahead, Hanna, but. What ever.]

We can just leave everyone stewing in their frustration.

Okay, well if we were back at your other project, what would you have me do if I did something like this?
