Funny I'm supposed to be learning how to cook too when I'm not allowed a kitchen, but I don't make the rules.

I'll consider it though, the cooking thing. Though seriously, it's not my first choice on skills. I'm sure there are better things I could be doing around here that isn't poisoning someone with day old rice I didn't reheat properly or what ever.

You don't have to take that job or learn to cook without starting fires. Your reasons for not doing that were just shitty. If your actual reason is I don't want to, then that's different.

It's not exactly 'I don't want to'. I mean that factors in a little, but it's more of 'they're busy and I'd be under foot for a long time'.

You know, I think this place is more like rehab than redemption.

But, maybe that's just me. Pull people out of where they were, entirely new environment, pair 'em up with a sponsor. Works out better than the prison comparison.
